About Bashir fayaq

Bashir Fayaq is a distinguished background in diplomacy, public service, and community advocacy uniquely positions him to be a powerful advocate in the Federal Parliament.
  • Master of Diplomacy, Australian National University
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Politics and International Relations, University of Canberra

International Experience: Bashir Fayaq has been involved in numerous international engagements, with two of the most significant being his representation of Australia as a Youth Representative at the United Nations in Geneva in September 2012, where he participated in the UN Day of General Discussion for the Committee on the Rights of the Child, and his dedication to human rights was further highlighted by his role as a speaker at the 18th International Human Rights Summit at the United Nations in New York in 2024.

Personal Life: Bashir Fayaq is a proud father of Ronika and a husband to Sahar. His commitment to his family and community fuels his dedication to advocacy and public service. In his personal time, he finds inspiration and balance through reading, writing, and walking.
